Erin Evans is the kind of girl no guy wants to be in a relationship with. She’s controlling and never backs down when she thinks she’s right. Knowing this, and rightfully fearing her last few years in her twenties will be like the last five, she looks for some adventure. That’s when her best friend convinces her to go on vacation with her to the Bahamas. On the land of white sand, coconut rum, and a cloudless sky, what she never expects is to meet Tyler Weston, a local bartender with a sweet tongue for the pretty girls. He’s tattooed, entertaining, and living the dream in paradise as he sets her drinks and her world on fire. As the moon lights the city, Erin unexpectedly becomes infatuated with Tyler and his bartending skills when he offers her the challenge of trying his Black Magic drink her first night on Paradise Island. Hoping to get some more alone time with Tyler, she sets out on a mission to try every drink on the menu while on vacation. And after one night and one Black Magic drink, both of which she can barely remember, results into two weeks of exciting possibilities she never saw coming. Can Erin put aside her cynical side and let the dirty-mouthed bartender show her what island life and love are really like?

Erin Evans is…well….something else. Controlling in every aspect of her life, down to when and where she’ll have sex, Erin has a tough time finding, and hanging on to a guy long enough to settle down. A personal assistant for professional athletes and singers, there’s no shortage of men in Erin’s life. Nearing her thirties, Erin is getting nervous, and is feeling depressed after her boyfriend of two years, breaks up with her.

When her best friend, Natalie, gets engaged, Erin agrees to go on a trip with Natalie and her fiancĂ© to the Bahamas. Trying desperately to leave the control freak in her behind, Erin, heads to the Bahamas in hopes of spending the time relaxing and regrouping.  What she doesn’t expect, is to come across Tyler Weston

Tyler is the total and complete opposite of Erin, but you know what they say about opposite’s right? They attract. And after one night at the bar Tyler bartends, Erin is ready to work her way through the drink menu just for an excuse to spend more time with the tattooed, sweet mouthed Island Boy.

Following these two along their journey was…well…something else! Watching Erin struggle to set aside her cynical side, and embrace Tyler and his laid back ways was…well… frustrating, hilarious, tough…take your pick! These two didn’t have it easy, they both came strapped full with baggage and a hesitancy towards anything that remotely had to do with finding love.

I absolutely LOVE Chelsea’s style of writing! I absolutely fell in love with Erin within the first chapter. Her no-nonsense attitude, and hilarious way of describing her certain situations had me laughing from the beginning to the end!

I absolutely loved this entire book and definitely recommend it to anyone looking for a light, refreshing read!!

I had never been on a jet ski before, and after ten minutes of skimming over the gentle waves, I wasn’t sure I ever would again. Tyler thought it was hilarious to dump me off the back when I thought I saw a shark.

True, it wasn’t a shark, but a dolphin.

“Even the sharks won’t hurt you,” he said, still laughing as I clung to his back, fearing for my life.

“The fuck you say,” I wailed, refusing to even look at the playful dolphin nudging the side of the jet ski. “Where I come from, sharks bite.”

Tyler ignored me and reached down, running his hand over the dolphin’s nose. “He’s just curious about you.”

I wasn’t so sure about that but when we got to the swimming pigs, I had another momentary freak-out.

“Holy Jesus, are those pigs?” I was practically standing on the jet ski trying to distance myself from them.

Tyler looked up at me as he treaded water with them. “What do they look like?”

“Pigs.”

“Well I suppose they’re pigs then.” He rubbed the top of a gray and black one’s head.

“Jump in.” He gave a nod with his head, the pigs all around him now, like they were old friends.

I gave him a horrified look. “No. Pigs shouldn’t swim.”

“Says who?”

“Me. I say that.”

“Don’t be a pussy. It’s a fucking pig. He ain’t gonna bite.”

“He won’t?”

Tyler wouldn’t lie to me, would he?

“No.” He looked at me and his eyes darkened. “I might.”

Pigs apparently don’t bite. Well at least they didn’t bite me. They sniffed me and invaded my space, but no biting.

Being out in the water this way offered some sights you wouldn’t usually see on the beach. I saw pigs swimming, tasted a fresh pineapple, went through a secret canyon, kissed under another waterfall, and ran my hands over a stingray.

“I can’t believe how blue the water is,” I said, my chin resting on Tyler’s shoulder when we stopped about a half mile from the beach.

“It’s the way the light reflects off the water that gives it that clear blue appearance.”

My favorite part, maybe the most memorable?

I was straddling Tyler on his sun-drenched jet ski, when his palm met my breast over my bikini and I knew where it was heading again. His thumb grazed my nipple, his other hand brushing over my sun-sizzling skin until it was wrapped around my neck and pulling my kiss to his. My lashes fluttered closed. His lips were so soft and tender, pouring emotion and sweet desperation into his touch...something you wouldn’t think someone having just a short-lived island romance would do.

The kiss deepened as he gathered me up drawing me into his chest. My legs fell to the sides and squeezed, rubbing against his hardness. Shivers shot through my entire body at the contact. “You’re addicted, aren’t you?” he asked, his lips at my ear.

I moaned and he grunted at the contact, his hand moving to wrap around my waist, grinding me into him once again. “I am.” I kissed him again, slow and deep. “Are you?”

As the jet ski rocked in gentle movements, his hands untied my bikini strings, lifting me slightly so my bottoms were fisted in his hand at my hip. He lifted me again, his hands fumbling between us. His eyes found mine, shades of blue revealing a sweet sadness. “I’m obsessed,” he murmured, the warm glow from the waters dancing against his skin as sunlight reflected off each ripple.

Something Worth Saving - Released Feb 1, 2014

It was one night, one fate and something tragic destroying something beautiful. Heavy sheets of smoke curling and rolling together constricting my visions of this life I had. You see that there? That wrenching pain in your gut knowing not everything as it seems? Look closer. That nervous energy you now have, stumbling over words you can’t say, a voice muffled under a mask, a moaning plea to be saved, slurred words on the tip of your tongue, there’s the something tragic. When I have nothing left to give, nothing left to say, it’s him that brings me back to the moment, in the arms of my firefighter, the warmth of his heart and body, struggling to save his family.

Just Enough - Coming Aug 2014

I want out of this town. I want to leave and never look back. He doesn’t knock when he comes in, he never needs to. He knows, as well as I do, my door is always open, waiting. I crave him. I do. He knows this, I think, I know, and I believe he craves me too. Why else would he come back? It’s his determination and his will that gets me. That determination keeps me waiting for him in a dreary bay. I’ve always heard my friends say they wanted the rich guy to take them out of this small town that seems to hold us all captive. Lincoln wasn’t that guy. At first look, he’s a fisherman, married to the sea and weighted by her waves. Who is he to me? He’s someone who gives just enough. He shows me a different way of thinking. A way to give more than just enough.

A stay-at-home mom, Chelsea spends her days drinking entirely too much caffeine, baking sugar-sweet treats she never eats, playing on Pinterest, and jotting down notes for her novels. A dreamer at heart, she’s been creating happily-ever-afters. She’s a lover, a writer, a dreamer, would rather type than speak, wants to remember everything, loves lots of ice in her drinks, and is slightly introverted.

Double Five Star Review! BLOG TOUR STOP: Seduce Me Ryan Michele

Synopsis
Casey Alexander grew up part of the Ravage Motorcycle family since the day she was abandoned by her mother and thrown into her father’s lap. Always seeing herself as an outsider, she spent her whole life trying to fit in, but never really succeeding. When she loses her beloved father, the utter aloneness engulfs her, leaving her searching for solace in the one man she’s always craved. Confessing her love for him only results in devastation when he pushes her away. Convinced she needs a fresh start, she leaves everything behind in order to mend her broken heart and begin building a future without him.

Gage Thomas (G.T.) Gavelson fell in love with his Angel when he was just a pint sized kid. Both beautiful and smart, he always felt she deserved so much better than him. Growing up beside her in the club only continued to test his will power, until one night, he gave into temptation. Realizing he couldn’t allow himself to hold her back from the life she deserved, he pushed her away, allowing her to believe she would never be enough for him. Letting her go had been the hardest thing he’d ever done. Even though he’d thought it’d been the right thing to do, not a day goes by that misery doesn’t consume him for it.

When a tragic shootout occurs, everything changes as once again their lives are intermingled. When you find your way back to the one person you are meant to be with, forgiveness should be easy. But sometimes, we hurt each other too much to ever be able to forgive.

Is their love strong enough to heal their pain?

What can I say about this book that you don't already know? Well first off let me just tell you how much I love me some motorcycle men! Crazy, hot, angry, possessive men! They fight for their own and when the going gets tough they fight some more!

This book gave us a POV from both Casey and GT and I love getting both sides of the story. I'm not gonna lie and say at some points I wanted to smack GT across the back of the head as much as I wanted to kiss his face! But thru it all I was happy to see Casey and GT get their happily ever for now ending that we all love to read about!

This book also gave us some crazy twists and turns that I didn't see coming which made the book even better. I never thought it would go where it did and made me anxious to keep reading to get tothe end where the bad guy gets his! And who doesn't love a little payback?? (I do)

I loved the new characters in this book and let me tell you.. Bella needs her own book!! I loved her from the start and she just got better as I kept reading.

This book has it all that is for sure, if you are up to the roller coaster then hang on for the ride!! Can't wait for more!

Okay.....So....Here we go.

This is the second book in the Ravage Me Series, and it follows the story of Casey and GT.

I LOVED THIS BOOK! (Not as much as the first one, but still.....LOVED IT)

This book was EVERYTHING a good MC book is supposed to be.

After a misunderstanding that GT neglects to clear up, Casey packs up her shit and heads out. Deciding to focus on her education instead of The Ravage MC. After all, she did tell herself she'd never be a club whore, and that's exactly how GT made her feel.

This book isn't as rough and tough as Ravage Me was. This book touches on much more emotional subjects which at times had me bawling like a big fat baby! It was nice to see a much softer side to the club in comparison to what we saw in Ravage Me, but it's also nice to know that even though Ryan Michele gave the club a soft side, she was able to maintain their badass way of handling shit.

I love me a motorcycle man as much the next girl, but GT is something else. There were times in the book where I wanted to unleash my inner Harlow on him and kick his ass, and then of course there were times where I prayed like hell that I was Casey. Lucky Bitch.

I know that this review doesn't touch much on the actual happenings of the book, but well....why ruin one of the best books I've read this year before you get the chance to decide for yourself??

Don't be fooled by my earlier statement, while Michele showed a softer side to the club, this book definitely still has all the rough and toughness that ANY good MC book should.

5 Star Review! Between Before and After by Amanda Dick

Danny Morris left behind a gun, a tonne of questions and a big hole in the lives of those he loved. What he didn’t leave was a suicide note.

That was three years ago and on the anniversary of his death, his friends mark his passing by gathering at his parents’ beach house in New Zealand's gorgeous Marlborough Sounds. Danny’s decision may have seemed like the easy way out for him, but there is no doubt about the wreckage he left behind.

Danny's girlfriend, Kate, holds onto his memory by continuing to live in the house they shared. Desperate to move on with her life, the need to understand why he shut her out holds her back. Her blossoming feelings for Danny’s best friend, Finn, only complicate matters.

Finding Danny’s body has impacted on Max in ways no one could ever have imagined. Withdrawing from his high-flying lifestyle, he has carved out a much simpler life, moving from town to town as he tries to run from the nightmares he refuses to talk about. A new development, self-medicating with alcohol has him sailing dangerously close to the edge.

Finn is finally ready to admit how he feels about Kate, but the ghost of her relationship with Danny continues to haunt them both. Desperately trying to save Max from himself dredges up long-buried anger and frustration at the situation they now find themselves in.

Friendship. The word itself conjures up images of trust and love. But what happens when that trust is broken and that love is thrown back in your face?

Five friends. Three days. One shocking discovery that will shake them to the very core. This year, everything will change.

What can I even say? Amanda Dick has done it again ladies and gents!!

Between Before and After was... Sigh... A roller coaster to say the least.

This book covers the grief of 5 friends who are still attempting to deal with the sudden loss of their friend Danny. And let me just tell you, it's gripping.

From the very first page, you can't help but to be sucked in until the very end. Amanda's characters are so well developed that everything they feel, you feel it too. Every high, every low, you ride that coaster with them. Although complex in its entirety, this book was an absolute pleasure to read!

In the six hours it took me to read this book, I was completely transported from my comfy seat on the couch right into the middle of the world these characters lived in. I highly recommend this book and suggest everyone take the time to be transported the way that I was!

Congrats on another amazing book Amanda!
