4 Star Review!

Well damn! Another one of the Gallo siblings, and another book I find myself lost in! Chelle Bliss certainly knows how to weave a story worth losing time over!

Izzy is seriously my favorite of the Gallo siblings this far! She's tough, witty, resilient, and of course, badass. No holds barred, her way or the highway, Izzy lives life her way by her rules.

Except where James is concerned.

After a Spring Break vacation goes horribly wrong, Izzy has no choice but to depend on James to get her out of harms way, and depending on ANYONE, is not something Izzy is fond of doing. And James uses that to his advantage.

James is a sexy as hell, bad ass, alpha DEA Agent. Boy do I love a man in uniform! He's bossy, and cocky, and his ego is about ten times the size of his head, but he's a man who knows what he wants, and stops at nothing to get it. And James wants Izzy. At any cost.

Gah! I loved this book so much! Waiting for Izzy to finally open up and accept a relationship with James was like waiting for paint to dry! It was tortuous waiting for her to finally give it! But it was so worth the wait!

This book actually revolves around more than JUST James and Izzy's relationship, and while their chemistry was off the charts hot, it's the additional drama that kept me turning the page. The absolute and severe NEED to know how this book was gonna end, had me finishing it in 4 hours!

I highly recommend this book and can't wait for Thomas's book so I can find out what happens next!

4 Star Review!!

Izzy..Izzy Izzy... What can I say?? You are one bad ass bitch! James you are the epitome of alpha male bossy ness!

I love the strength that izzy has but at the hands of James she can't resist his overbearing self for long....

Growing up with all those overbearing overprotective brothers Izzy is no stranger to having to stand up for herself and be strong. No relationships, love em on her terms her way but for whatever reason she is unable to fight off her need for James.

James is a no nonsense take no prisoners type and he will have his way once he breaks down Izzys tough girl exterior.

I gotta say I loved this book, loved the passion and the fire that these two had and loved to see them work thru their stuff to get to the other side.

Who doesn't love a man in charge and a fierce woman to handle him? Well I do that is for sure...

Look forward to more, thank you for a great read.

I’d already raised my voice, but I couldn’t fucking help it. The woman was maddening. “I’m exactly what you need and want. You’re too fucking scared to admit it.”

She shook her head as she crawled out of bed and started to dress. “You’re not all that.”

“When you grow the fuck up, call me,” I said as I stalked toward her.

“You’re a total dick,” she hissed, moving to slap me.

I grabbed her wrist, pulling her to my body. Gripping her hair in my fist, I gave it a slight tug as I hovered over her lips. She gasped, holding my shoulders.

“You know you want me,” I growled, my lips a breath away from hers. “I wrecked you for any other man. I own your ass, Izzy. I’ll let you run, but you can’t resist me forever.”

4 Star Review!

I really do love a second chance romance! There's just something about two people who are obviously meant to be, finally getting their chance at the happily ever after they deserve. Ariannia Williams and Reed Matthews definitely deserve a happily ever after.

Four years ago, Ari's life was turned upside down and she was left alone.
And pregnant.

But somethings not right, and things aren't adding up. Ari and Reed remember their breakup very differently, and Reed swears to Ari that he's going to get to the bottom of it and find out what really happened.

Ahren Sanders has done it again. And that seems to be the consensus among the reviews right now. I honestly didn't think I could love any of her male leads as much as I did Declan Collins from Surviving/Surrendering. But, I was clearly mistaken.

Reed is...well...he's hot. And he's totally Alpha, and I FLOVE IT!

Throughout the whole book, I found myself rooting for Reed and hoping that he would be able to break through the insecurities Ari has about the two of them getting back together. She's hesitant to let Reed back into her life now that she's got another life, the life of her child-their child, to put before her own.

When the past that broke them up comes back to end things once and for all, I seriously thought I was gonna piss myself, but and unlikely character steps in and saves the day! YAYYY!!!

This book seriously had me flipping through the pages so fast, I constantly had to stop and go back to re-read some things I had read over too fast. There's tons of angst, just enough humor, quite a bit of mystery, and of course....well...there's Reed.

And that should speak for itself!

Kudos to you Ahren, on another great story, and another sexy as hell book boyfriend that I can add to my ever growing list! I love this book and I look forward to reading more :)

Excerpt
“Did you miss me, Arianna?”

I can’t talk so I nod against his neck. One hand glides down my leg and into the hem of my shorts. His finger grazes the edge of the silk of my underwear. He moves the silk to the side and rubs his fingers between my swollen lips. He teases me with his touch until I moan.

“Say it. Say you missed me and I’ll take care of you.”
Smug bastard.

Shaking my head, not giving him the satisfaction. He removes his fingers but uses his whole hand to cup my sex and squeezes. I cry out and then bury my mouth on his shoulder trying to smother the sounds I can’t stop from making. My body begs for the pleasure but my mind won’t give in.

“I feel you trembling. I know exactly what you need. All you have to do is say three little words. ‘I missed you’.”
I try to wiggle away, but his body and one arm has me pinned against the wall. I swivel my hips against his hand trying to get enough contact to relieve myself, but he twists his wrist and squeezes again. The need for release seeps all the way down to my toes. Then I think of something that may get to him.

“Reed?” I whisper.

“Hmmm?”
“If you don’t want to take care of me, I’ve got a very talented BOB in my room that’ll do it. The thought of it actually excites me.”
His body stiffens and his eyes meet mine shining with desire.

“Not fucking happening.”

[REVIEW] The Scars of Us by Nikki Narvaez

BUY ME: http://amzn.to/1ltjXxj

SYNOPSIS

Kaiya Marlow has always been cautious, precise in every decision she makes. When her dark past threatens to resurface, she decides to take precautions to protect herself by enrolling in self-defense classes at her gym.

Her instructor, Ryker Campbell, is the tattooed womanizer everyone warns about. Kaiya attempts to resist Ryker's advances, but the more time they spend training together, the harder it is for Kaiya to resist him.

Ryker's view on relationships is simple: strictly sex, nothing more. Haunted by demons from his past, he never allows himself to become attached to any woman. No attachment means no weakness, no vulnerability, no pain. He doesn't realize that his whole world is about to be turned upside down when Kaiya enters his self-defense class. Determined to have her, at least for one night, Ryker sets a plan into motion that will change both of their lives forever.

Will love be able to heal their scars, or are they too deep to overcome?

4 Star Review

****ARC PROVIDED FOR HONEST REVIEW!****
[ONE minor spoiler may be mentioned, but you'd have to have read the story to pick up on it]

I always love when I'm approached by an author to read their book. I love it more when I LOVE the book! I'm not gonna lie...I'm always terrified that any book I read for review, is going to end up being a huge flop and that I'll hate it and have to come up with some horribly awkward way to tell the author that I hated it and blah blah blah...But I am happy to report that I don't have to this with The Scars of Us!

Kaiya AKA "Warrior" has had a tough hand dealt to her. Not unlike most female leads in books these days, but this one took quite a turn I haven't quite seen in many books. A turn that's super twisted and unexpected. I definitely had my suspicions and initially I was like...WAYYY off...

Afraid of basically EVERYONE, Kaiya has a tough time forming relationships of any sort, her small circle of people including her brother Kamden and her best friend Nori, indicate just how small that circle is. How do you trust anyone, when one of the people you're supposed to trust most, betrays you? Kaiya doesn't trust...not anyone. Not even the only two people left in her circle. Not fully anyway.

Not until Ryker that is.

Ryker is a sexy as sin self proclaimed man-whore and personal trainer/self defense teacher at the gym Kaiya and her brother go to. But he's got demons of his own that have kept him closed off from forming relationships with anyone either. His view on trust is just as skewed as Kaiya's is. But when she walks into his gym, the last thing he's expecting is for her to turn his world upside down.

When the demons from Kaiya's past threaten to resurface she's thrown into a panic. Terrified as to what may happen if she's forced to face her past, Kaiya decides to sign up for the self defense classes that her gym offers. That Ryker offers.

The relationship that blooms between the two of them is absolutely positively beautiful. Both of them attempting to push away their demons and doubts, watching them grown and develop as characters AND a couple was really cool to watch. Nikki Narvaez does an astounding job pulling you into the story, and making it impossible for you NOT to connect with the characters. Throughout the whole book, I found myself rooting for Ryker and hoping like hell that he would break through Kaiya's seemingly impenetrable armor. I also found myself wanting to BEG Kaiya to just open up and give Ryker a chance.

I was starting to think that the climax I thought this book was heading towards would never happen, and I was totally thrown off when it finally did. Heart stopping, breath hitching, chest clutching drama ensues and in the end, true love prevailed, proving to be stronger than a shot to the heart.

Needless to say, I loved this book, and Nikki Narvaez has made a fan out of me! I look forward to reading anything else you put out :)

Thank you for giving me the opportunity to read and review your book! Good luck to you in the future!

BUY ME: http://amzn.to/1tK2srQ

Brielle Parker has her life in front of her; she just does not know how to live it. After years of not being enough for her parents, or the dreams she once had, how did one man Colby James show her she was actually more than enough?

Raised by her grandparents with her three siblings, Brielle was loved, no doubt. However, her grandparents were taken too soon, and she was left with her older sibling to try to raise her younger ones. She couldn’t help but let the doubts take over her life. Will they be able to get past their mistakes to live the life they both want? Did Colby finally break Brielle when all he wanted to do was protect and love her? You can rebound from some mistakes, but some you just have to learn from and walk away. The love they have is true and pure, but will they finally be enough for each other

5 STARS!

***********Received this book as an ARC for an honest review*********

There are three things that to me make a great book, characters, story line and a happy ending! Well I was not disappointed with reading this book.

Not everyone has a perfect childhood or perfect parents, and although Brielle loved her siblings and grandparents her parents were another story. Never being able to measure up in their eyes she was turned on by her parents in the worst way. People who were supposed to love you and believe in you no matter what. They were not those parents for Brielle. She learned early on at the age of 12 that to them she wasn't special or good enough, so with the love and support of her grandparents Brielle was able to grow up and graduate college and return home to her siblings she loved unconditionally.

This was where she met the to be one person that did think she was enough Colby. He is in love from the first moment he laid eyes on her. After a lot of convincing and reassurances Brielle let's Colby in, finally decides she can love someone and have them love her back like she deserves. This of course does not go off without a hitch and Colby does some really shitty stuff and breaks Brielle's fragile heart even more. (He is a man after all so they do stupid shit)

Knowing that staying in town and being broken over Colby isn't helping Brielle heal nor letting her be there for her siblings like she wants to so she takes off for a few months to do some soul searching and working on her demons. Finally finally FINALLY she comes home and is ready to give her everything to not only her family but the love of her life Colby as well...

The dynamic of this book and the crazy ass family that Brielle has is awesome! I love them all and can't wait for the rest of their stories because I know it can only get better

4 Stars!

***********Received this book as an ARC for an honest review***********

First off...FLOVED THIS BOOK!

Brielle Parker has had a tough life. From the time she was 12 years old, Brielle has had the notion that she's not enough. Not for her parents. Not for herself. Not for anyone.

But she had accepted that.

All Brielle wanted was to finish school, and head back home to her family that she loved unconditionally. And so she did. What she didn't expect when she got back home was Colby James.

It was an instant attraction for the both of them. And while Brielle tried her damnedest to resist Colby out of fear that he would be another person in her life that she wasn't enough for, her attempts were futile. She couldn't get him out of her mind. And the same went for Colby. Except he knew he loved her, basically from the beginning.

As with any relationship, Brielle and Colby have their ups and downs. And the downs are definitely pretty pretty DOWN....Like...Someone should be kicked in the shin... *COUGH COUGH* Colby *COUGH COUGH!* But I won't get into all that...Ya'll can read the book yourselves and determine what part of Colby's anatomy ya'll wanna kick.

I loved this book. I loved the entire dynamic of all the characters throughout the whole book! Brielle's relationship with her family is absolutely admirable and there isn't a damn thing she wouldn't do for them. Colby is almost perfect, and would be if it weren't for his serious indiscretion, but he's perfect for Brielle. He's the first person who's ever been able to get through to Brielle and prove to her that she is in fact enough

I hated what Brielle had to deal with when she was younger, and I hate even more that she's dealt with it all these years without any help. My heart broke for her and I just wanted her to tell someone, anyone, what had happened to her.

I LOVED this book, and I recommend it to all! I can't wait to read the next installment in the Parker Siblings Series!

[Blog Tour] Degradation by Stylo Fantome--Five Star Review!

TITLE: Degradation
AUTHOR: Stylo Fantome
Add to:

BLURB:

Eighteen year old Tatum O'Shea is a naive, shy, little rich girl. Twenty-three year old Jameson Kane is smart, seductive, and richer. They come together for one night, one explosion, one mistake, and Tate is hurled into space – no family, no money, and no Jameson.

Seven years later, life is going pretty good for Tate, when she runs into Jameson again. This time, she thinks she's ready for him. She doesn't have a naive bone left in her body, and she can't even remember what shy feels like. Jameson has evolved into Satan – sharp teeth, sharper claws, and a tongue that can cut her in half. It all sounds like fun to a girl like Tate, and she is ready to play, determined to prove that she isn't the same girl he conquered once before. A series of games start, each one more devious than the last.

But the devil likes to play dirty, and she learns that playing for souls is playing for keeps. The lines between games and reality, heaven and hell, get blurry. Can she beat Jameson at his own game before someone gets hurt? Or will he leave her soulless, making him the winner, once and for all?

WARNING: contains a wannabe B-rate porn star, an impersonal personal assistant, and the F-word, A LOT. Also graphic sexual situations and sadomasochistic themes. 96,000 words.

When Stylo emailed me and asked me if I’d be able to read and review her debut novel, I thought to myself “yeah, sure….when I get around to it.” I was in the middle of two other books I was reading for the blog, and I was crazy busy at work. Nonetheless I agreed to read and review it as soon as I got around to it. But first I had to see if it was gonna catch my interest. I had to see if it would be worth it. So I started it. For me, I can usually tell in the first three chapters if I’m going to end up liking the book or not. It only took me three pages to get sucked into Degradation.

So yeah…if that doesn’t say something about how freaking amazing this book is, I’m not really sure what will.

I’m kinda scared to talk about what actually goes on in the book. I don’t want to ruin the experience of getting to know Tate and Jameson for anyone. But what kind of review would this be if I didn’t talk about the book?

Soo….

Tatum O’Shea is…well…put simply…a badass. Growing up doing what she was told, when she was told, how she was told and never getting any recognition, Tate’s feeling a little frustrated with her life. One night, a few drinks, Jameson Kane, a huge mistake, and everything changes. Seven years later finds Tate working as a bartender when she’s not working random temp jobs, no Harvard degree, and couponing with Angier, her best friend, just to get by. Needless to say, Tate is no longer the perfect little girl she used to be. When one of her temp jobs brings her face to face with her past, with the Devil, will she run and hide? Or will she put on her big girl panties and play the Devil’s games?

Who are we kidding…its Tatum O’Shea, sweetheart turned badass. Of course she’s gonna play, and probably without panties.

Jameson Kane AKA Satan AKA the Devil AKA Lucifer AKA anything that has to do with the devil, while he’d never admit it out loud, hasn’t been able to get Tate out of his head for the last seven years. Kane is a man who knows what he wants, and when he see’s Tate serving drinks and food to his colleagues, he knows he wants her.

OH OH OH! And Sanders! Who is Sanders you ask?? Only the BEST character in the whole damned book! But you’ll have to read it to find out why!

I’m so glad that I took a chance on this book! This book is by far one of my favorite releases of 2014, and I can’t wait to start seeing this book get the recognition it deserves.

I know this isn’t the first book you’ve ever written, but it is the first you’ve published, and a SERIOUS congratulations is in order. This was seriously a fan-fucking-tastical read that had me holding my breath, tossing my kindle, stalking an author, and laughing my ass off. Thank you Stylo for reaching out to me and introducing me to Jameson Kane.

EXCERPTS/QUOTES:

“You started these games,” Jameson reminded her. Tate hiked up her dress a little and

lifted her knee to his desk.

“I didn't realize they'd go on for this long,” she replied, lifting her other knee. She bent

forward and crawled across the desk towards him. He didn't move.

“They're going to go on for a lot longer,” he warned her. She reached out, putting her

hand on his knee.

“For how long?” she asked as she slid her hand up his thigh, moving as slow as possible.

“However long it takes you to realize who the winner will always be.”

“Oh, you're done. Time for good girls to go upstairs and show me how bad they can be,”

Jameson told her.

“I don't think there's very much that's good about me anymore,” Tate laughed.

“I think you have no idea what bad really is.”

“There will never be a ring from Harry Winston. I will never ask you to marry me. I don't

want those things, I never did. I like to have fun, I like to fuck. I don't want to put stars in your

eyes. I'm not that guy. I'm the devil, and I don't have any plans to change.” - Jameson

“If you want to run, I suggest you do it now,” Jameson told her.

“Why?” Tate asked, and he leaned in close.

“Because I eat girls like you for breakfast,” he hissed in her ear.

She smiled and slipped to her knees in front of him.

This, she could do. This, she was very good at.

Love, however, was a completely different story.

“What do you want, Kane?” Tate asked in a low voice. Jameson dragged his eyes away

from her tits and stared her in the eye.

“Call me that name again, and I will punish your mouth,” he warned her. She chuckled.

“Don't make promises you won't keep.”

“Your life story is much shittier than mine,” Jameson told her. She glared at him.

“But probably a lot funner,” Tate countered.

“I highly doubt that. Have you ever had sex with a supermodel while sailing through the

mediterranean on your 250 foot yacht?” he asked. She thought for a second.

“No. I gave a handjob in an Arby's bathroom once, though. Kinda like the same thing,”

she told him with a bright smile.

“I stand corrected. Your life leaves me in awe.”

Tate sat forward, arching her neck to look up at Jameson. He stared straight back at her,

the fire casting shadows on one side of his face, and burning up the other side.

He looks like Satan.

She felt his teeth against her skin, fangs to her jugular, claws to her heart. He bit down,

once. Twice. A third time, so hard, she thought he was going to take out a piece of her.

He already did that, a long time ago, baby girl.

“I have the strangest feelings about you. Like I want to take you everywhere and have you

by my side, but I also want to hold you down. Make you beg and and cry,” Jameson told her.

Tate kept her eyes focused on his, didn't move a muscle.

“Sounds like a pretty good plan to me,” she whispered.

She felt her temperature soar through the roof. Jameson had an uncanny gift that made it

impossible for Tate to be truly mad at him – the angrier she got, the more she just wanted to

have sex with him. He was blessed that way. Or rather, she was cursed.

“I'm not going to fuck you. That would be giving you a treat. You've been very bad. I'm

going to do whatever I want.” - Jameson

“Why do you like to push me?” Jameson groaned, lifting her hair so he could bite at the

back of her neck.

“Because I like it when you push back,” Tate whispered.

We are a match made in Hell. He may be Satan, but I'm Lillith. - Tate

The whole time, he raked his nails down a path on her back. Peeling away a layer of skin,

exposing a piece of her soul. Stealing it from her. Or just taking it back.

Houston, we have a problem.

Jameson watched her sleep for a while, his eyes wandering down the angry scratch

marks on her back, over the bruises on the side of her neck. She let him do so many things to

her. Eventually, Tate would want something in return, and that thought scared him.

“Men are retarded assholes. You make a bad jokeand he looks at my tits, and it's one-

plus-one equals whore,” Tate explained, and Jameson finally laughed.

“I wish I had gone to that school.”

This was her comfort zone. Tate felt like if Jameson was nice to her, if he was sweet

to her, she would forget what was really going on, forget her place in the grand scheme of

things. And he was Satan, after all. He would make sure to put her back in her place. That

would be real pain, and she couldn't handle that, not from him. Not again.

I'm losing this game.

All she could focus on was Jameson's hand. His strong fingers, linked through hers. She

squeezed his hand, so hard it hurt. So hard, she wouldn't be able to let go, not ever again.

Why did everything feel so different?

Because everything is different.

“Do you think there's something wrong with me, treating you the way I do?”

“Not necessarily. It's consensual. Empowering.”

“Empowering?”

“Yes. You have the power to hold me down, say things, call me names. But I have the

power to say stop. End it all. Your power is an illusion. Mine is real.”

Speaking nice to her, that was too much. Saying sweet things, even in the fucked up way

they had, was more than Tate could handle. She hadn't wanted to care about this man. Not at

all. She had wanted to play with him. Turned out, he was much better at the game.

“I don't want a nice, normal girl. I want a girl who likes to be knocked down and dragged

around. A girl who will let me smack her around and talk dirty to her. I want a girl who will let

me sleep with other girls, and then get so turned on by that fact, she'll blow me while we're

driving down a highway doing seventy-five,” Jameson snapped.

True story.

“Sounds like a pretty hot girl,” Tate commented.

“Hottest girl I know.”

This. More than anything, Tate wanted to remember Jameson like this; she loved his

biting words and his stinging hand, but his kiss. His kiss gave her hope.

TEASERS:

AUTHOR BIO:

Indie author, writing anything that pops into my head ... which happens to usually be kinda crazy and a lot dirty. Working out of an undisclosed location in Alaska (where the need for a creative mind is a necessity), I have been writing since ..., forever? Yeah, that sounds about right. I have been told that I remind people of Lucille Ball - I also see shades of Jennifer Saunders, and Denis Leary. So basically, I laugh a lot, I'm clumsy a lot, and I say the F-word A LOT.

I like dogs more than I like most people, and I don't trust anyone who doesn't drink. No, I do not live in an igloo, and no, the sun does not set for six months out of the year, there's your Alaska lesson for the day. I have mermaid hair - both a curse and a blessing - and most of the time I talk so fast, even I can't understand me.

Yeah. I think that about sums me up
